Starting off the Season...
This is such a fun time of year and keeps us all busy, especially the kids! We had a great Thanksgiving with Chad's family. They all came to our house this year and it was a lot of fun. Chad's mom and I literally cooked all day and then we ate dinner in about 15 minutes. What a process! I had never helped helped cook Thanksgiving dinner before and didn't realize what all went into it! We had a lot of fun and the food turned out great. After we took  all the kids to see "Bolt".
Yesterday Brooklyn turned 6 months old. She is such a good baby and we love having her in our little family. She rolls all around now but could just hang out on her stomach for hours and play. She has learned to hold her own bottle which is my favorite milestone ever! Finally her two bottom teeth have poked through and she isn't drenched in drool quite as much! We gave her rice cereal for the first time last week and unlike Carter at her age, loved it! He tried it again and told me it was yucky!
Chad is the biggest scrooge when it comes to Christmas but surprisingly he helped us put up our tree yesterday. Carter was so excited and had so much fun, Chad couldn't resist. To continue with the Christmas fun, though it's not even December yet, we made homemade ornaments then took the kids to see Santa and ride the train at the mall! I was so surprised Carter sat on Santa's lap, the last time wasn't a happy experience...Christmas 2006.
Lets just say that's why we skipped our visit with Santa last year!
