Projects...

What summer would be complete without projects! Here are a few we've been working on...

When my friend Launi came, we talked about making these cute summer dresses. We drew up a pattern and here is the end result. It was so easy I've made three more!
We've had this empty spot in our backyard collecting weeds for a while now. We've contemplated planting something but without water ran to that area, we had to find a better solution...and we came up with a sandbox!
For my birthday, Chad surprised me by starting these shutters...I say started because I had to finish them! He did all the hard stuff though and I think they turned out pretty good.

Our last and most dreaded project...the backyard! Living on a hill isn't all that it's cracked up to be especially when you have to landscape it. We've been taking baby steps...last year was the top level, this year is the second level and hopefully the third will be finished by next year. We'll see how it all tuns out!
