Its funny how fast time goes by. I can't believe Carter is in Preschool. I can't believe Brooklyn is talking so much. I can't believe we have lived in our house almost 2 years. I can't believe Chad is almost done with school. I can't believe it is almost Christmas!
Everyday comes and goes and I wonder what we have accomplished that really means anything.
Yet at the same time I can't help but to be grateful for the small and simple experiences we have each day and hope that they all add up to mean something in the long run! Life can seem so mundane and uneventful sometimes but if we remember that these moments won't last forever, we can't help but appreciate them!
I love having this blog to document our life and have learned that everything I write will have no greater value to anyone more than me. Here are a few things I hope to look back on and laugh about...
The other day while at my parents house, Carter was admiring the two elk my brother had just skinned(hope thats not too traumatizing for a 3 1/2 year old) and explained to us that they are now naked because they have no hair!
I asked Carter what he wanted for breakfast yesterday and after he let out a big sigh, he said "We just can't eat all day Mom"! He hates eating and comes up with a million excuses on a daily basis.
A while ago we were trying to teach Brooklyn how to kiss and Carter pipes in and gives us the version he learned on t.v..."You open your mouth, turn your head and bite"! Yikes, I think it's time to turn off the t.v!
We were standing in the driveway when I asked Carter to throw away a piece of trash, he walked past the trash can and put it on the floor of Grandpa Kim's truck. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "That's where Grandpa puts it". I couldn't blame him because it's true!
