California
Well, we had another great trip to Cali. We stayed with my Grandma as usual and had lots of fun swimming in the pool, playing at the beach, and hanging out at Disneyland for three days! I was dreading the drive but the kids did so awesome thanks to portable DVD players and lots of snacks. Apparently we weren't the only ones who wanted to hit up Disneyland the last week of summer vacation because it was pretty busy, but we still had fun. This year Carter grew enough to ride a few more of the bigger rides. He wasn't quite tall enough to ride the water ride at California adventure so we improvised by putting plastic bottle caps in his shoes! It was just the boost he needed and we both got soaked.

Such a good idea with the bottle caps in the shoes. We've been when our kids barely miss. Next time I will definitely take bottle caps just in case. You're such a smartie!
